Dr. Francis Petrella obtained his surgical training from McGill University, where he later joined the Urology Department and served as its external Chief Resident. Following his urology surgical training, Dr. Petrella pursued advanced specialization. He completed an Andrology and Infertility fellowship at the University of Miami and fulfilled world-renowned microsurgical training at Cornell University.
He specializes in Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Male Fertility and Vasectomy Reversals. While specializing in these areas, Dr. Petrella maintains a strong foundation in general urology, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients.
He is recognized for his leadership, teaching, and research accomplishments at McGill University. Throughout his career, Dr. Petrella has authored numerous publications, textbook chapters, and articles, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in his field. His recent work focuses on shockwave therapy, testosterone replacement, and the optimization of vasectomy reversals.
